Who are we
We are mountain professionals: adding together our mountain curricula we can say we have climbed all the major routes in the Alps, from Mount Blanc to the Dolomites; we have travelled around the world’s mountains, from Nepal to Chinese Karakorum, from South America to the highest African peaks, we have reached the North Pole and climbed in the rocky desert of Africa and the Middle East.
We have many children (six in all) with whom we spend all our spare time, one of us is a geologist and the other is a barman during the winter; we do our best to match our profession with an ordinary life.
Indeeed we are ”very normal” mountain guides who like promoting their professional activity by comparing it to the job of a precious craftsman who creates tailor-made climbs and unforgettable experiences, while having fun and feeling good in the mountains.
We therefore wish to promote activities in our home mountains, which were already known back in the 19th century to the British travellers who invented mountaineering in the Alps; our dear home mountains that make us sweat yet give us enough to live on.
